Marooned by shockwerks
This was my attempt at a Heavy Metal style heroine. As much as it pains me to make impractical armor, the overriding goal was to draw a cheese tactic sci-fi / fantasy bad ass female - who fights in a bikini.
Xweilander by shockwerks
This was a warrior woman sketch that I abandoned due to terrible proportions, but I still kind of liked the helmet and the, "you want some of this," look in her eyes.

The title is probably better than the image. a play on Zweihander, a German two handed sword.

Lightsaber hilts
I will admit, I was doubtful of the new Lightsaber with a cross guard. Then I heard from some longsword experts, and now I think I'm on board. But I still had my own ideas how they could have looked without a week point.
Jessica Ennis by shockwerks
Jessica Ennis
Sketch of Gold medal olympiad, Jessica Ennis.
Since February 2012 I've operated, and contributed to, a community, internet art project called, Operation Graphite.

What began as a conversation between former art students who realized their dormant drawing talents had become rusty, became a weekly art project and motivation to create a drawing each week. Despite having full time jobs, which weren't in the arts, and families, we still strived to reclaim what we once thought of as our primary talent.

Operation Graphite has been going on for over two years now, and not only has it provided and incentive to keep drawing, it has, at times, also given me an opportunity to engage in some short form writing on the topics. I keep up with the blog consistently, thinking of it almost as a job, in hopes that my talents will continue improve. Even if I am often the only contributor, I am glad that I have consistently kept it going, and hope to continue with it as long as I can.
