Adolescent Evolved Shaolin Terrapin

Maybe there is a parallel dimension, where everything is just like the world we experience now, but just slightly off. Maybe there, the Ninja Turtles are instead known as Shaolin Terrapin?

In that universe the turtles were actually trained by the rat of a Buddhist, Shaolin, Kung Fu Master. After leaving China and taking refuge in tunnels underneath San Francisco's Chinatown, a rival Wu Tang Master continues his hunt for the Shaolin Disciple. After a poison gas attack by the Wu Tang Master, The Rat and a few shelled Terrapin living in the tunnels rapidly evolved to become self-aware, Sentient Creatures. The Rat, recalling his Masters movements, and naming his reptile after a book he finds on Ancient Greek Philosophers, teaches them Kung Fu.

Thales (Thal) Dressed in Blue, and wielding twin swords is the leader of the bunch. Although a bit of a boyscout, a brilliant tactician and level headed at all times.

Xenophanes (Xeno) Burning with rage, and wearing red is the berserker of the bunch. Though completly lethal unarmed, fights with Shaolin Forks or other three tined weapons.

Pythagoras (Py) In Purple is is the Nerd of the bunch, Apt in all manners of Academic and Technical Matters. Py is skilled with spears, staves and pole arms.

Anaximander (Anax) When not engaging in extreme sports, the party boy of the bunch, clad in orange prefers Chained weapons like the three section staff. And much the the annoyance of his foes and brothers alike, Anax makes Bruce Lee 'Woops' and 'Wahs' while fighting in honor of his hero.

This is a rough version with Photoshop colors for the sashes, but I might go back to this one and clean it up later.
